  How superstitious are you?

  for some time now, my profile shows that my average posts per day are 6.66. now to some people this could be a bad omen.

  do you find that you try to avoid certain things because of "superstition"?.

  Naaaah....I'm only superstitious in my hindsight, Oz...

  Example:

  In 1973, when I first became borganized, I had to renew my license plates very shortly thereafter....I had a dream the night before that when I reached the counter, the clerk handed me plates that read "666"....in actuallity, when I reached the counter the next morning, the clerk did, indeed, hand me license plates with the numbers "666" on 'em....when I deborganized 19 yrs. later, I realized that I should have been superstitious about what the plates meant regarding my becoming borganized into a beastie cult....It could have saved me and my fam a LOT of misery and years of S&M existence....

  strolling in a park tonight near a lake, i was sitting on a park bench looking at the beautiful lake, and then a brother, i knew years ago, passed right next to me and he stopped to talk to me.

  he was with his new girl friend.

  Good for you, JH...yes, all sorts of physical and emotional changes occur when ya deborganize yerself.....blood pressure goes down, smiles occur spontaneously....could have something to do with yer newfound ability to take time to smell the roses...

  i need to vent, and what better place to vent?.

  i can not get over the fact that my well-adjusted life, where i am happy, and to me, doing the right things, will always be seen as immoral by my family members and former friends.

  the recent email exchange (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/56683/1.ashx <---yay drama) between myself and an ex best friend just makes these feelings come rushing back.

  (((JWbot))) we all know how you feel, cause we've been there ourselves, of course....it does help to "move on" with your life and lift your spirits by getting involved in activities that you enjoy and to meet new people...from there you can make a whole world of new friends...just like coming to this forum....sometimes you hafta force yourself to take those steps....because of the caution instilled in you by the borg and because making new friends doesn't mean they'll understand where you "come from"....that's what we're here for....but you sure can enjoy the heck outta making your new life, cher... and that's what it is...a new life....make of it what you will....
